The Masters’ tournament of WGL

Friends, the Golden series is right around the corner — he first games will be held already in September. And now, we are getting ready for the contest.

Let us remind you that the next season is a transitional one and, for the first time ever, it will be held in the 7/70 format — fights «7 vs 7» on the X level of technical equipment.

The first big step on the way to the season will be the Masters’ tournament of WGL. It is a qualifying tournament, in which the best semi-amauter teams will play for two tickets to the higher division. And now the details.

Participants

The contest will be attended by:

• Up to 16 teams of the Silver series of the previous season. The participation in tournament was confirmed by 12 of them.

• The teams NEO and Impact Gaming, who secured VII–VIII places in the previous season of Golden series.

 

Dates and structure


 

The tournament consists of two group stages.

• The first stage: August 19-20. The best teams of the Silver series will be divided into groups, 4 teams each. The winners of each group will move on. The schedule of tours:

  • Tour 1. 19th of August, 15:00 (Moscow time).

  • Tour 2. 20th of August, 15:00 (Moscow time).

  • Tour 3. 20th of August, 17:00 (Moscow time).

• The final stage: August 26-27th. The best teams of the first stage, as well as NEO and Impact Gaming will play in the round system. Two of the best teams of the final stage will get tickets to the higher division.
